Big Indoor Bike Ride returns to Lutterworth

Lutterworth’s Big Indoor Bike Ride is coming soon and charities will benefit.

The event will be hosted within Lutterworth’s sports centre and the money raised will be for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and other charities backed by the local rotary club. Poster printing from Lutterworth can be used for promotional purposes. John Turner, an event organiser, told the Harborough Mail:
“It’s a great social activity and a community event. It’s also a good opportunity to get fit, and the extra is that it’s also raising money for good causes.”

The event was held for the first time during 2017. On that occasion, in excess of £2,500 was raised for the charities in question.

This time around, participants can have a go on one of 35 stationary bicycles. Approximately 200 slots have been created for riders to use. These slots last for an hour. However, the individual fundraiser is able to peddle for more than an hour if they are prepared to book longer periods of time.

Music of a motivational nature will be played to encourage the participants. Nonetheless, nobody will have to go faster than their own limits. Novice riders shall be made to feel at home.

A diversity of stalls can be accessed on the day. Riders who are not too health conscious may purchase cakes, while everyone can have a go at the raffle.
