Awards ceremony may recognise Lutterworth firms

Lutterworth-based companies could become involved in a regional awards event.

The East Midlands Bricks Awards is set take place next month and nominations for businesses in the vicinity of Lutterworth East will have to be submitted soon. Business Cards are essential for event attendance, particularly when there will be networking opportunities.

Mark Oakley is a director for Leicester City Council and he appreciates that the Leicestershire economy is the largest growth engine within the East Midlands. He focuses on the attraction of inward investment and he engages in place marketing. He told East Midlands Business Link:

“Major ongoing and planned investment is benefitting from our global connectivity and I want to encourage businesses in the property and construction industry to consider entering events like the Brick Awards that help celebrate what is great about the East Midlands.”

A range of sponsors has come forward to back the ceremony. Different categories of awards are being supported by diverse enterprises. Streets Chartered Accounts opted to sponsor the overall prize, while Forterra plc elected to promote the accolade for sustainable development.

Nominees should arrive promptly so they can enjoy a reception. The formal part of the evening is scheduled to last for two hours. After all the awards have been distributed, everyone will be free to mingle. The event is taking place on March 25th. The venue for the occasion is Trent Bridge’s Derek Randall suite.
