This building would be 240 metres in height and would be made up of offices. The plan is to construct it within the City of London, as part of its eastern skyscraper cluster. Should the council opt to green light this proposal, it would become the fifth highest building in the Square Mile and would be positioned prominently in a corner location.
There is currently a tower building with 28-storeys on the chosen site, which dates back to the 1970s. It serves as the UK base for Multiplex, a company owned by Brookfield Properties, which is behind the Plans for the new skyscraper.
The hope is that the existing building can be knocked down, beginning at the start of 2026. Work on building the new one could then start two years after that. If this goes ahead, firms that move into the new offices could obtain Business Cards and other essential supplies provided by nearby shops in Aldgate.
According to a local source, a Brookfield Properties spokesperson said:
“The proposed Plans will enable the site to respond to the future needs of the City, while maintaining a focus on community, wellness and sustainability.”
It would be completed by 2030.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Plans
