Plans to convert an office block in the City of London into a luxury hotel will be going ahead, with the confirmation that the Corporation has granted full planning permission.
Those Plans are for a building on Clements Lane, which is currently used as a block of offices. This building holds Grade II listed status, which complicated the application as the developer needed listed building consent too. That has now been granted, so JMK Group will be able to move forward with its Plans. It intends to turn the building into a hotel with a total of 180 rooms, while respecting its history.
Studio Moren is the architecture firm that designed the Plans and the intention is for the hotel to be an exclusive, luxury place to stay. It will contain amenities such as a bar, cafe, restaurant and lounge, all of which will be situated on the ground floor.
City of London Stationery printers can be useful to hotels in the area. This is because they need various administrative Forms printed to ensure things run smoothly.
The building at Clements Lane is mostly vacant at the moment, so the application was able to cite the need to bring it back into use. The design by Studio Moren is one that will highlight its historic significance. The firm has a lot of previous experience in reinvigorating heritage buildings.Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Plans
