Management buyout for Coventry firm

A Coventry-based business has survived following a management buyout that secured over 200 jobs.

Elliott Group Holdings (EGH) has got through a problem with its cash flow after its management stepped in to take control. The cleaning company is situated on Torrington Avenue in Coventry. EGH saved in excess of 200 jobs by reorganising things. If it makes further progress, it could engage with stakeholders by using newsletter printing in Coventry.

PFK Cooper Parry assisted with the restructuring process. Tyrone Courtman, of PFK Cooper Parry, said:

“It’s always a shame to see a business run into financial difficulties and the last thing anybody wants is to see 200 people out of work because of this.”

Courtman added that his enterprise acted swiftly to turn EGH around by implementing a plan. The accountant said that he was confident that EGH could do well going forward.

EGH has not been around for very long. It was registered with private limited company status last year. However, if it emerges from its difficulties, the outfit could be in the right place to thrive.

Recent economic research conducted on behalf of eBay has shown the potential Coventry has for new firms over the next few years. The research highlighted that in the local area, Coventry could be just behind Northampton and Rugby in the future. The relevant branch of the Federation of Small Businesses has greeted the research findings in a positive way.
