Classic pop coming to Coventry

A live music venue in Coventry will welcome a renowned English 80s band to the stage this summer.

UK synth pop and new wave group Heaven 17 will be performing live in Coventry this coming June. The single-night show will see the celebrated band from the 1980s play at the hmv Empire, owned by Phil Rooney.

Owners of live music venues often look to professional printing services in the area to create a diverse selection of advertising materials from signage and Posters to leaflets and Flyers.

Heaven 17 formed in 1980 in the city of Sheffield from the ashes of another famous pop band, the Human league which keyboard players Martyn Ware and Ian Craig March were both part of. Joined by vocalist Glenn Gregory they became well known for chart hits during the 80s.

In 2021, the band returned to Sheffield to play the first two albums by the Human League on stage, ‘Reproduction’ and ‘Travelogue’.

Heaven 17 fans attending the upcoming performance in Coventry will get a chance to hear a wide range of tracks from the band which may include classic singles like “Temptation”, “Come Live with Me”, “This Is Mine”, and “Sunset now”.

Heaven 17 will now perform live in concert at the hmv Empire on Friday, June 16. The venue is located at 22 Hertford Street in Coventry and the gig is set to begin at 7 pm.
