Louise Redknapp to play socially distanced Clapham concert
Pop singer Louise Redknapp has confirmed that she will be coming to Clapham next month, to perform an intimate gig that complies with social distancing regulations.
The star, who used to be a member of the 1990s girl group Eternal before going on to have a number of hits as a solo artist, is bringing her ‘Heavy Love – Intimate and Live’ show to the area. The venue for the gig is set to be the Clapham Grand and concertgoers will be seated at a safe distance from each other to meet the current regulations.
Redknapp will be performing songs from her new album ‘Heavy Love’, alongside her past hits, and will also take part in an interview with Richie Anderson from BBC Radio 2. In addition to online promotions, upcoming concerts can also be advertised using poster printing provided by shops in the area, now that restrictions have eased.
Speaking to The List, Redknapp stated that she felt grateful to have her comeback go so well following an extended period out of the spotlight, with the backing of former Premier League footballer Jamie Redknapp, her ex-husband:

“I’m really lucky. I’m actually able to do the job I do because Jamie is so happy to share everything with me. I have friends who don’t have that so I’m really lucky.”
