Five Guys chain coming to Clapham
One of the biggest fast food chains in the US, hamburger outlet Five Guys, will be opening a new branch within Clapham – marking the next stage in its ongoing UK expansion.
This eatery is set to be located on Clapham High Street, at 182-184, a spot that used to be home to the Bison and Bird bar. This unit measures 3,500 square feet and is on two storeys, with the ground floor being sizeable and open plan and with double frontage also included.
Five Guys made its initial move into the British market four years ago, with the launch of its first outlet and it is set to have 60-plus branches throughout the country before long – with more than 20 already dotted around the South East and London.
The property agency Shelley Sandzer was responsible for securing this Clapham site for the chain, which was voted the best fast food outlet by UK diners in a poll conducted during 2016.
Casey Phillips, of Shelley Sandzer, told Bdaily UK:
The outlet is due to open during the summer and may wish to call upon places offering promotional drinkware to help when it comes to the advertising.

“Clapham High Street experiences excellent footfall throughout the day, as well as busy lunchtimes and exceptionally strong evening trade as it sits within a highly populated residential area.”
