Clapham to host renowned sporting event
Clapham is set to once more play host to a popular annual basketball tournament this month, as the NBA 3X London event sponsored by Gatorade will take place.
The venue for this tournament will again be Clapham Common. It will mark the third year in a row that the capital city has hosted it, with the organisers hoping for as much success as the previous two. The focal point of NBA 3X is the actual basketball tournament, which follows a 3-on-3 format, and there are impressive prizes on offer for the victorious sides.
The male and female sides that win the 18+ tournaments will get tickets for 2025 NBA Paris matches. The teams that win the junior events will receive vouchers worth £100 to spend at the NBAstore.eu site, as well as an NBA League Pass.
In addition to these tournaments, this year’s NBA 3X London will also have various interactive activities related to the sport that attendees can take part in. Poster printing from shops in Clapham is one of the ways that the organisers of events like this can ensure that people are well-informed.
A total of 72 different teams will be entering across the male and female and senior and junior categories. The junior tournament will be held on Saturday, followed by the senior one on Sunday.
