Clapham music festival line-up announced
The first group of artists set to perform at an annual music festival held in Clapham have now been announced, giving music lovers in London something to get excited about for the summer.
House of Common is a festival that runs for a single day each year and is put together by the legendary ska-pop band Madness. Since it was originally launched, it has gone on to become a popular part of the capital’s summer festival season and the 2019 event will play host to the likes of David Rodigan, Ziggy Marley and the celebrated reggae singer Jimmy Cliff.
As well as running the festival, Madness will also be taking to the stage as the headline act to perform their many 1980s hits. Clapham Common is once again set to serve as the venue for the event and music festivals of this sort are often promoted online and through the use of traditional poster printing.
House of Common has built a reputation for offering an eclectic music mix and this year it will cover everything from soul and funk to hip hop, ska and reggae. Other performers who have now been confirmed for the fourth edition of the festival include Jah9, Akala and Horace Andy.
