A practitioner of yoga for almost 20 years, Preston is well versed in both Zen and Ashtanga yoga and seeks to encourage her students to discover wellbeing and joy in its practice. The location for the lunchtime classes, Cambridge House has been chosen for its panoramic vistas over the Somerset city as an ideal place to relax. Should the class prove to be a success, Preston hopes to provide future classes.
Preston commented on her sessions:
“I’m hosting this lunchtime yoga class to give those working in this beautiful city a little time and space to stop and recharge.”
The classes are to be held for a good cause. Instead of a fee from those attending, Preston is requesting a donation of £10 for Julian House, a homeless charity in Bath which, among other services, offers workplace experience and training. Local charities can sometimes use branded promotional products to spread their message and raise their profile in the community.
The yoga session will take place between 1pm and 1.45pm on May 17 at Cambridge House on Henry Street, Bath. Due to space concerns, the class will be limited to 12 participants.
