The stand-up comic Chris McCausland is presently on the road with his show 'Yonks', and is due to play a gig in Bath at the beginning of April.
Hailing from Liverpool with a degree in software engineering, he is the circuit's only blind comedian. Described by critics as “an instant success”, he has appeared regularly on stages for the last 20 years.
McCausland hosts BBC Radio 4's 'You Heard It Here First' and recently appeared on Channel 4's 'Scared of the Dark', as well as on 'The Wonders of the World I Can’t See'. His extensive list of other TV credits includes 'Live at the Apollo' along with 'Would I Lie to You?'
This headliner at the Henley Festival and previous winner of 'Celebrity Mastermind' has also tried his hand at writing.
McCausland generally kicks off with a joke about how ironic it is that a blind man practises observational comedy. He then gets straight into his original and entertaining set, commenting wryly and perceptively on the lives of the famous and wealthy, not to mention our ordinary daily activities.
Tickets cost £24.75 inclusive of a transaction fee. Promotional products can be an effective way of advertising a future comedy or theatrical event.
Chris McCausland's gig has a starting time of 8.00pm on Wednesday, 3 April at The Forum, Bath.
