Scottish singer/songwriter Fraser Anderson is due to give a performance in Bath at the beginning of August.
This troubadour first fell in love with music as a teen when he started writing songs on the reverse of his school note pads. By the age of 19, he was already married and a father working 24/7 with little time to pen his own material.
The celebrated folk artist, Dougie McLean, asked him to become a band member. This had a profound impact on Fraser’s 2003 debut LP, 'And The Girl With The Strawberry'. In 2005, he relocated to France and the following year released 'Coming Up For Air'.
Anderson has also played gigs in support of Joan Armatrading and Chuck Berry amongst others, and released his third LP, which featured renowned double bassist, Danny Thompson. In the aftermath of his divorce, he then moved to Bristol, and in 2016 'Under The Cover of Lightness' emerged, a BBC Radio Ulster album of the week.
This original performer has been compared to both Nick Drake and Damien Rice. His latest release, 'All Of Me', is due to be released later this year.
Tickets cost £14.30 and are subject to a transaction fee. Flyer printing can be an effective way of publicising a concert or future musical event.
Fraser Anderson's gig has a starting time of 7:30pm on Thursday 3rd August at Chapel Arts Centre in Bath.
