An iconic UK singer and guitarist is coming to Bath to play a single-night show.
Celebrated UK songsmith Paul Weller’s national tour is bringing him to Bath in Somerset later in the year. Enjoying a long and distinguished musical career, Weller started his road to fame when he formed the mod-revival group The Jam and continued his journey with Soul band Style Council in the 80s. Since 1992, the artist has been solo with critically acclaimed songs and albums to his credit.
Nicknamed “The Modfather”, the singer-songwriter’s music has been a source of inspiration for other UK artists including 90s Britpop band Oasis. Often political and deeply personal, Weller is well known for his popular live performances and his carefully crafted song writing. His latest release, “Fat Pop (Volume 1)”, came out earlier this year.
Music tour promoters often employ poster printing services to create colourful and eye-catching advertisements for gigs and concerts to encourage attendance.
Fans attending the Bath performance will have an opportunity to hear live renditions of famous tracks from Weller’s solo albums like “The Changingman”, “You Do Something to Me”, and “Wild Wood”, but also potentially hits from his Jam years such as “A Town Called Malice”, “That’s Entertainment” and “Going Underground”.
Paul Weller will play the Bath Forum on Wednesday, November 17 at 7 pm.
