CHF Docmail has joined forces with the two newspapers to help promote the event. The big day will take place in November. Bristol’s Science Centre will host the occasion. Winners in the various categories could use newsletter printing from Bath to make the most out of their achievements. Mike Norton, the editor of the Bristol Post, said:
“The Environmental Awards, now entering their second year, are all about recognising the green champions across many aspects of this city's life.”
November 10 will be an important day for all the sponsors of the competition. The University of Bristol, Halsall and Ecosurety will unite with CFH Docmail. CHF Docmail is a postal service which does not consume fossil fuels. It uses electric cars and bicycles to make its deliveries. An executive from the business has confirmed that it sponsored the environmental awards last year.
Various prizes are up for grabs. These include the Environmental Innovation Award (EIA), the Environmental Organisation Award (EOA), the Environmental Hero Award (EHA), and the Environmental Entrepreneur Award (EEA). The EEA can reward those engaged in a start-up or more experienced businesspeople that have made a contribution to sustainability. There is also flexibility in relation to the EHA. This can be presented to a team or an individual.
