A Bath date secured for folk singer

The singer/songwriter Jinder is embarking on his ‘Reflections On The Glass Age’ tour supported by Peter James Millson, and is due to play Bath towards the end of May.

This UK artist's musical roots lie in two traditional hotbeds of English folk, namely the Midlands and the West Country. Indeed, he has carved his own innovative path after initially playing in a series of bands.

Jinder first appeared on the solo scene in the 1990s, releasing the Dusty Roads EP. He has since produced a total of 12 albums. The year 2019 saw him achieve five UK download chart entries, notably with the top 30 single “Keep Me In Your Heart”, which featured in the film Fisherman's Friends.

In 2020 he released several new LPs, including “The Silver Age”. Jinder returned last year with a series of sell-out shows and another top 40 downloads chart entry, in the form of the acclaimed single “How Do I Reach You?” His 13th album is due for release soon.

In support is Peter James Millson, who mixes literate mid-80s pop with guitar-influenced sounds and has six albums to his name.

Tickets cost £13.20, including a booking fee. Flyer printing is commonly seen as an effective way of advertising a concert or musical event that is coming up in the local area.

Jinder's gig has a starting time of 7.30pm on Friday, May 19 at the Chapel Arts Centre, Bath.
