The tribute band, The UB40 Experience, is currently on tour and is due to play a gig in Ashton-under-Lyne at the end of December.
They were formed in 2013 by Andy Bagnall and Anthony Porter. Bagnall is an internationally recognised Ali Campbell tribute artist who appeared in the live grand finale of 'Stars in Your Eyes'. The rest of the band includes specially selected skilled musicians.
Each member has learned and practised UB40's various techniques and styles, thereby facilitating the capture of their authentic sound - not to mention their distinctive on-stage performance.
It is a chance to hear the hits from the back catalogue of a band that achieved record sales of more than 200 million. These include the singles 'Red Red Wine', 'One in Ten', 'Many Rivers to Cross', and 'I Got You Babe', among others.
The UB40 Experience previously had special guests such as The Selecter and played together with Chesney Hawkes, Aswad, Sonia and Go West. They have also appeared on the Channel 4 television programme 'Come Dine With Me'.
Tickets cost £12.50 in advance and £15.00 at the door. Print shops can be a great asset when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.
