Raymond James in Ashton-under-Lyne gets new man

The former private client head at Towry, Philip Howe, is leaving this position to take up a new role at the branch of Raymond James that has been launched in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Howe is set to provide a discretionary investment management service within this firm. The company as a whole offers both agency-based model portfolios and customised private client services. Howe has considerable industry experience, having spent three years with UK Wealth Management as its private client head, before moving to his most recent position with Towry.

After the announcement of his new role, Howe used his page on LinkedIn to state that:

“Following takeovers by Ashcourt Rowan, Towry and Tilney I felt we could no longer offer the service clients wanted so I left to set up my own investment management company through Raymond James.”

He went on to add that he was aiming to reprise the kind of service that he was offering during his time with UK Wealth Management, combining a strong process of investment with greater flexibility than big companies are able to provide.

The service he will be offering at the Ashton-under-Lyne offices of Raymond James is set to further drive that company’s growth within the Manchester area.
