The developer behind Plans for the redevelopment of a retail centre located not far from Ashton-under-Lyne has revealed the first images showing what the completed project will look like.
New Era Properties secured the necessary planning permission to renovate Droyslden Shopping Centre from Tameside Council earlier in the summer. The design for the new-look centre has been created by Ombler Iwanowski Architects and it will see unit 1 and unit 1a within it given a thorough makeover. Together these units account for 4,000 sq ft of retail space and encompass both shopping and eating and drinking areas.
The cost of the planned work is expected to be £100,000, with one of the refurbished units set to remain occupied by the present tenant – A Coffee Kitchen, which is a café bar outlet. A business that has not yet been named has expressed an interest in letting the other unit.
Among the renovations that will take place are façade re-cladding and opening up the centre frontages. Shops in places like this sometimes use banner printing services to advertise special promotional offers they are running.
Patrick Franks from New Era Properties told the Tameside Reporter that this project was the beginning of wider Plans for the regeneration of the town centre. The company bought the shopping centre last year and has Plans for major investment to make the overall area better.Get a Free Quote for Plans
