Grease vs Dirty Dancing will feature bingo with cash prizes, and song quizzes which include hits from two epic musical films of the 1970s and 1980s; Grease and Dirty Dancing.
To conclude the night, a specially booked tribute act will perform the smash hits from both films, leading bingo-goers in a singalong. The organisers say:
“Guess the song quizzes playing your fave hits from Grease, Dirty Dancing, the 80s and 90s ….’You’re the one that I want’– don’t be shy, we expect you to be up on your feet the whole time.”
Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, was the highest grossing musical film ever when it was released. Around a decade later, Dirty Dancing, starring Patrick Swayze, was also a box office hit, grossing over £170 million worldwide.
The organisers remind Ashton residents that they will need to be a member of Buzz Bingo Ashton in order to play. Local events such as these are often promoted in the community with flyer printing.
Grease vs Dirty Dancing at Buzz Bingo Ashton takes place from 7pm through until 11.30pm on Saturday, 4th May. Tickets can be bought online and there are limited £20 places available.
