The band Total Rex, a T Rex tribute, is about to embark on a summer tour and is due to play Ashton-under-Lyne in mid-September.
This no-nonsense live rock outfit has rapidly earned itself a reputation as being amongst the UK's foremost tribute acts. They are constantly in demand and indeed perform regularly at popular entertainment venues all across the country.
The members of the band are dedicated musicians who pay great attention to detail. They endeavour to and self-evidently succeed in reproducing the authentic Glam Rock sound of iconic frontman Marc Bolan's T Rex.
The show incorporates all of the group's biggest hits from the 1970s such as ' Bang A Gong (Get it On)', 'Metal Guru', 'Jeepster', 'Telegram Sam' and 'Ride A White Swan'. They will also play a selection of favourite album tracks.
It should appeal to a broad spectrum of people, not only original fans but notably those who are interested in learning more about the music of the era. Marc Bolan continues to have a large and loyal fan base right around the globe.
