Festive elves sought in Ashton-under-Lyne

A company located in Ashton is on the lookout for those looking to take on a festive role this December, with temporary positions as festive elves on offer.

Cockfields Farm, which is located within Ashton, has announced that it is looking for people who are into the Christmas spirit – and don’t mind wearing an elf costume to work – for its family yuletide experience. The farm offers annual workshops that allow kids to meet various animals, as well as Santa Claus.

The job of playing Santa has already been filled, but the farm still needs elves to help out with the many family-friendly activities. Previous elf experience is not one of the requirements, so anyone enthusiastic is free to apply.

The farm owner, Mark Navin, told the Manchester Evening News that he needs people who can discover their inner elf, who are happy around kids and who will be able to work weekends during December, in addition to Christmas week, adding:

“We want fun people who are not afraid to speak up and talk to the general public. They will get to interact with lots of excited children and make somebody’s Christmas really special. It goes without saying that they must love Christmas too.”

Local attractions such as this often employ places that provide printed leaflets to help when it comes to advertising.
