Ashton-under-Lyne welcomes alternative new wave group

The Alt-rock band Bax Rafter is currently on tour and is due to appear in Ashton-under-Lyne at the beginning of April.

This four-piece outfit hails from Manchester playing popular alternative 80s new wave. They are widely recognised for their energetic performances and deliver a genuine sound inclusive of keyboards. The atmosphere created is also enhanced by the presentation of an eye-catching light show.

Bax Rafter is a completely live band and included in their set are numerous 80s anthems. Tracks such as 'Are Friends Electric?' by Gary Newman, 'In Between Days' by The Cure, and 'Every Day Is Like Sunday' by Morrissey'.

They also perform songs by other contemporary artists of the period including The Stranglers, The Smiths, Elvis Costello, OMD, New Order XTC and many more. It is an opportunity to once again listen to songs that define an era.

This show should appeal both to original fans, who would like to revisit their youth, as well as those who are eager to discover and learn more about the sounds of the time.

Tickets cost £12.00 in advance and £10.00 on the door. Print shops are a valuable resource when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.

Bax Rafter's gig has a starting time of 8.30 pm on Saturday 5th April at The Witchwood, Ashton-under-Lyne.
