Ashton-under-Lyne travels back to 80s

The Kick Up The 80s Show is currently on tour and is due to arrive in Ashton-Under-Lyne at the beginning of February.

This four-piece tribute party band got together in 1999. It consists of Ant Green (Guitar & vocals), Dean Lathbury (bass & vocals), Justin Hyde (lead vocals & keyboards) and Martin Dolman (drums & vocals).

The show delivers a highly energetic set that features a wide variety of costumes and appearances by famous guests as well as crowd engagement. They perform a selection of authentically recreated classics from across the decade.

This includes playing popular 80s tunes chosen from a repertoire that contains the work of more than 60 artists, everyone from ABC to Wham. It also involves covering all of the music genres of the era from Ska right through to Heavy Rock.

In 25 years of performing together, this professional four-piece band has appeared with stars such as Limahl, Go West and Bad Manners. Once again, they will take to the stage for an evening of full-on 80s entertainment that should appeal to people of all ages.

Tickets cost £12.00 in advance and £14.00 at the door. Poster printing is a popular choice when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.

A Kick Up The 80s has a starting time of 8.30 pm on Saturday 8th February, at The Witchwood, Ashton-under-Lyne.
