Ashton-under-Lyne to host two-day tribute show

A festival showcasing Britain’s best tribute acts and DJs is set to take place in Ashton-under-Lyne this Autumn.

This September will see the 2023 edition of the Fields of Gold Festival held at Ashton-under-Lyne’s Ashton Cricket Club, which regularly enjoys up to 5,000 people in attendance. Venues of all shapes and sizes hosting outdoor events often engage expert banner printing services to create attractive themed signage showing attendees where facilities and food and drink can be found.

The popular returning event will take place over two days and will be hosted by Clint Boon, a DJ and radio presenter, Boon is considered a musical legend in Manchester after his days playing keyboards for Inspiral Carpets. Famous for dancing with the Happy Mondays, Bez will also be back at the festival performing DJ duties.

Providing a sing-along experience for all attending, the festival will feature leading tribute artists and DJ playing classic tracks. A marquee tent has been prepared for poor weather and there will be fairground rides and first-class food and drink on both days of the event.

The Fields of Gold Festival will take place at Ashton Cricket Club on Friday, September 1 and Saturday, September 2. The local sports club can be found on Rayner Lane off Lord Sheldon Way in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Admission to the festival is strictly for those who are aged 18 and over.
