Ashton-under-Lyne to celebrate rock

A successful tribute to a renowned hard-rock band from Australia are set to storm the stage this summer at a popular music venue in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Known for its real ales and being the home of live music in Ashton-under-Lyne, The Witchwood has announced it will be presenting a live tribute band dedicated to Aussie rockers AC/DC. Dubbed OC / DC, the rock tribute group are renowned for their high-volume and high-energy shows and recreating both the sound and appearance of AC/DC.

British tribute bands often look to dependable business card printing services to create branded calling cards they can present to booking agents and live music venues.

Back in March this year, OC / DC played a sold-out show at the Motorsport Lounge, an events venue in the centre of Llandudno, Wales.

Those attending the gig in Ashton-under-Lyne can expect to hear classics like “Highway to Hell”, “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Back in Black”, to name but a few.

OC / DC will now play live at The Witchwood on Saturday, August 5. The public house is located at 152 Old Street in Ashton-under-Lyne and the gig will begin at 8.30pm.

Tickets for the event are charged at £14 on the door, but are also available online in advance for £12. Online tickets are emailed to gig goers after they purchase.
