The Arcades Shopping Centre is located within Ashton-under-Lyne and is a two storey building housing forty five retail units, with New Look, Wilko, WH Smith and Next among the outlets currently occupying them.
This popular venue has been part of the town's landscape for 20 years and is situated next to Market Square – currently in the middle of a refurbishment costing £4.5 million – and the Ladysmith Centre.
Receivership firm, Grant Thornton has appointed the real estate company Savills to handle the process of selling it and its investment director, Mark Garmon-Jones, stated that the £24.25 million guide price reflected a nine percent initial net yield.
Garmon-Jones went on to state that the centre currently generates an annual rental income in the region of £2.9 million. He proceeded to add:
“With a strong tenant mix and numerous opportunities to increase long term income through asset management, we are confident this shopping centre investment will have wide appeal,”
Those shops based within the Arcades Centre can rely on the support of places that provide catalogue printing in the town, to supply them with high quality Catalogues showcasing their products.
The centre offers total retail space of 138,691 square feet, with this impressive amount of space likely to appeal to buyers.Get a Free Quote for Catalogues
