Ashton-under-Lyne gets ready for AC/DC

Tribute band AC/DC GB is presently on the road and is due to play a show in for Ashton-under-Lyne at the end of May.

This outfit hails from the North East of England and has acquired a reputation of one of the country's leading tribute bands, playing the music of AC/DC - a group that itself has legendary status in the history of modern popular music.

AC/DC GB's line-up consists of David Lunn (vocals), Dean Robertson (Lead Guitar). Ian Fairbairn (Guitar), Chris Walker (Bass) and Tim Fairbridge (Drums). They pay considerable attention to instrumental detail with the aim of recreating the authentic sound of the Australian rockers.

This includes a tight rhythm section, the distinctive vocals of Brian and Bon as well as the characteristic stage antics of Angus. The band delivers such classic tracks as 'Whole Lotta Rosie' 'Highway to Hell', 'Hells Bells', 'Back in Black' and 'Thunderstruck'.

It steps on the stage with the same raw energy and passion. It all makes for an enthralling two hours of evening's entertainment that should appeal to both established fans and newcomers alike.

Tickets cost £14.00 in advance and £18.00 on the door. Poster printing can be a useful resource for those engaged in the promotion of a concert or musical event.

AC/DC GB's gig is due to start at 8.30 pm on Saturday 31st May at The Witchwood, Ashton-under-Lyne.
