A community hub in Ashton-under-Lyne will be presenting family-friendly craft events over the summer.
This coming June, The Vale in Ashton-under-Lyne is inviting residents from around town to take part in special weekend events known as Crafty Saturdays, an art club designed for family fun. Ideal for little ones accompanied by an adult, the local activities will offer attendees plenty of opportunities to exercise their creative impulses.
Community art clubs and classes often look to professional Print shops for a wide range of services, from creating promotional materials like Flyers to producing branded printed products for students to use.
Those attending the weekend events can expect to find hands-on crafting fun that involves using an eclectic mixture of recycled materials to make colourful modern art sculptures that explore principles like form and shape.
All the craft sessions will be held in the Vale’s Studio 1 space, which has been specially designed for family-friendly activities. Each session is two and half hours in length, starting at 10am and ending at 12.30pm.
Crafty Saturday will take place at The Vale on June 17. The venue can be found at Unit 2, Vale Mill, on Micklehurst Road in Mossley, Ashton-under-Lyne.
No booking is required to take part in the art club, and all Saturday sessions are free of charge to join in.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
