Windsor residents can discover how to present meat and cheeses to their best advantage in an event that will be putting Ontario-sourced dairy and other ingredients front and centre.
The Art Gallery of Windsor and The Cheese Bar will be teaming up this July to offer a workshop that will be all about artisanal cheeses and how they can be prepared and presented, along with a selection of meats and other savory treats. The students will have an opportunity to try out the techniques they will learn, and will all be going home with their very own cheese display.
This event is scheduled to be held in the Art Gallery of Windsor, and it will be open before the workshop so the learners can browse. The session itself is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm, and those who register are reminded to not forget to bring along their own paring and regular knife, as well as an 8 by 10 board they can use for their charcuterie.
An event like this can provide an opportunity for the public to sample a large selection of food, and Stationery printers can be called on to Print lists of the ingredients used, as well as where they were sourced. Distributing these to the learners will make it easier for them to purchase them at a later date should they wish to do so.
Two separate sessions of The Cheese Board workshop have been planned, and those who are interested can choose between July 4 and 6. The fee to participate is $80.
