The fair will include a “rummage sale” with used goods from local families, a market of local vendors, and a “legendary” bake sale. Visitors can also receive barbecue straight from the grill, fresh coffee and other treats. There will be draws and raffles for prizes donated from the local community. Local artists will also provide live music throughout the afternoon.
Students and other young visitors can have their faces painted and take part in other games and activities. Organizers encourage local businesses to participate by donating draw prizes, acting as sponsors, or setting up a stall.
Proceeds from the Suzuki Fair will go to the school’s daily operations, field trips, and other ways to enhance the student experience. The event uses flyer printing and social media to help connect with the community. Advertising material emphasizes the event’s intent to be inclusive:
“Our FUNdraiser is open to everyone and is built on the foundation of community spirit. We enthusiastically thank our sponsors who have already been generously supporting this event!”
The 2026 edition of the Suzuki Fair will take place on the grounds of Dr. David Suzuki Public School in Windsor on June 6. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for purchases.
