The Hogs for Hospice event will be returning to the Windsor area this summer, aiming to have fun while raising money for local health care.
The event invites motorcycle enthusiasts and other community members to congregate for a festival. The event will include a custom auto show, showcasing custom-made and modified cars and motorcycles. There will also be an official registered bike ride exploring the Essex County area, with highlights including Windsor, Point Pelee National Park and local beaches and wineries.
Hogs for Hospice will also include a full line-up of live music. Friday will be Country Night, headlined by chart toppers Cole Swindell and John Morgan. Saturday will feature Poison frontman and rock icon Bret Michaels, accompanied by Glass Tiger in a special Homecoming concert. Michaels previously played the event in 2016.
The festivities will also include bike games and competitions, freestyle motorcycling and vendors, including a miniature Ribfest. Proceeds from Hogs for Hospice will go towards end-of-life care in the Windsor and Essex County region. There will also be a 50-50 draw to further raise funds. Charitable events like this one often use methods like poster printing and speeches to outline the cause being supported and encourage people to donate.
The 2026 edition of Hogs for Hospice will take place at Seacliff Park in Leamington from July 31 to August 2.
