Windsor fans of the fruit of the vine who would like to expand their knowledge will be able to do so during an upcoming class planned by a local establishment.
Wineology, which is located at 1646 Wyandotte Street East, has made arrangements to offer a workshop that offer a “world tour” of wines. It will include a sampling of vintages sourced from all over the world, and tickets start at $110 each.
The students will be walked through tasting wines for various regions, and they will learn to spot the differences between them. They will discover how factors such as soil, climate and the variety grown all influence the taste and other characteristics of the final products, and eight different wines will be sampled. The function is restricted to those aged 19 and up, and tickets may be purchased both online and in person at Wineology.
