Charcuterie boards have become a popular way to start a meal or to enjoy trying some new meats, cheeses and other small bites, and an upcoming Windsor woodworking workshop will teach learners how to create these boards.
Ford City Makers Club will be teaching beginner woodworkers some of the basic skills of the craft, which they will use to prepare a customized charcuterie board. The materials for the project will be provided, and instructor Michael Difazio will be sharing his expertise and knowledge.
The activity will be hands-on, and the boards will take approximately three and a half hours to complete. At different points throughout the workshop, the participants will be invited to put down their tools and take a break, and light refreshments sourced from the local area will be served. Both singles and couples are welcome to attend.
Tickets for this hands-on session start at $135 for singles, while an additional charge of $45 will be levied for an additional person. Instruction sheets for how to care for the items prepared in an event like this can be obtained from Stationery printers.
The Ford City Makers Club in Windsor is located at 1023 Drouillard Road. This workshop will be welcoming ticket holders on April 11th, and the Visit Windsor Essex website can be consulted for more information.
