What's Happening in Windsor, ON…

Windsor welcomes return of annual Zombie Walk

A horde of the undead has been spotted heading to Windsor, but there is no cause for concern, as they are simply hoping for a fun time.

The annual Windsor Zombie Walk and Parade will be bringing some spooky fun to the community next month. People can choose to get involved and register as an individual or group for free, and floats are also welcome at a cost of $50.00.

The fundraiser, which will be family friendly, will make its way along the stretch of Ouellette Avenue that runs from Pitt to Wyandotte. Everyone is encouraged to come in their best zombie costume and make up, and prizes will be presented to the best entries. Live entertainment will add even more fun to the celebration.

This will be the 20th year for the Zombie Walk and Parade, and while the organizers hope the activity will be a fun experience for all who participate, it will also have a higher purpose. Donations will be collected for The Downtown Mission of Windsor, which will help to make sure no one gets left out in the cold.

When organizing an event like this, planners may be in the market for letterheads and registration forms. Local print professionals will be happy to help.

The 2025 Windsor Zombie Walk and Parade will hit the road on Saturday, October 4th. The start time is 6:00 pm.
