Windsor showing rise in housing sales

Some statistics have been complied that could be good news to those who live in Windsor and are planning to sell their home in the near future.

According to Cameron Paine, who is the president of the Windsor Essex County Association Of Realtors, the area’s strong economy and the increase in the number of people moving into the region has resulted in a rise of those looking to purchase a new home.

He also noted that there has been some large investments in local industry, such as the Chrysler manufacturing plant and also infrastructure like the parkway and bridge, which are helping to make the public more confident about the economic future of the region.

The price of houses is being driven up by the strong sales levels, and it is expected that the price of homes could go up by as much as five percent before the end of 2015.

Mr. Paine feels that this is also driven by the fact that there are fewer homes available for purchase. Flyer printing companies can produce promotional materials that let potential buyers know more about the properties.

Peter Valente, who is a local realtor, remarked that as people are able to sell their home for more money, there is a higher number that choose to have a new, more expensive home built. This raises the number of new homes being constructed.
