Windsor pop-up shopping party to help dogs in need

It's been said that every dog has its day, and this is the inspiration behind a pop-up Windsor shopping party.

Canines in need of a forever home to call their own will benefit from the Walkerville Lucky Paws Pop Up. This will be a combination adoption event and community makers and small business market, and it will be open for four hours.

Held outdoors, the function will feature several local companies, and many of them will be pet focused. Food may be purchased on-site, and there will be some adoptable dogs on hand to meet and cuddle. A canine costume contest is in the works, and raffles, a photo booth and doggie trick or treat station will all be on offer. The Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR) will receive the proceeds from the raffle draw ticket sales as well as donations from the crowd.

Animal-focused festivals may draw lots of attention from the public, and a banner printing company can help make that happen. They can prepare signage to use both during an event and also in its lead up, helping to build the buzz.

The Windsor area is invited to be part of this day of fun planned in support of a local companion animal rescue. It will be held on October 29th at 1567 Ottawa Street in Windsor.
