Windsor online workshop to be held for creative kids

An event that the organizers hope will put a smile on the faces of Windsor’s crafty kids is right around the corner, and it will be a joint project of two community service groups.

Autism Ontario Windsor and Film Camp for Kids and Youth have partnered to host a painting session for children both with and without autism. It will be offered using the Zoom platform and is geared towards those who are at least eight years old.

The participants in the activity will be painting a picture of cheery snowmen, and to help prevent the spread of COVID, each child who registers will have a package of supplies dropped off at their front door so they can complete the project. These will be distributed the day before the session takes place, and anyone with questions has been asked to contact the organizers directly.

Offering a workshop like this gives an organization a way of keeping in touch with the community when in person events cannot take place. Reusable tote Bags printed with the group's Logo Design can be used to distribute supply packages for events like this.

The Snowmen Craft workshop has been scheduled to kick off at 5:00pm on January 28th. The packages of materials are scheduled to be dropped off on January 27th.
