Families that make up Windsor’s autism community are invited to grab their folding chair or blanket, beach umbrella and hat and get ready for some fun in the sun. Autism Ontario Windsor Essex summer picnic is set to make its return this August.
The venue for this year’s celebration will be the Ciociaro Club, which can be found at 3745 N Talbot Road in Oldcastle. There will be lots going on, and it can give kids who are autistic, along with their neurotypical siblings, parents and other family members, a chance to enjoy the agenda of activities that has been planned.
When families arrive for the picnic, they can spread out their blanket, unfold their chair and relax. Kids can head to the bouncy castles, giant trikes, giant slide and face painting stations, and they can stop by the cotton candy, popcorn and snowcone booths for a snack. At 12:30pm, lunch will be served, and after this there will be entertainment, water games and even a chance to explore a real working police car and fire truck.
To help ensure that everyone enjoys the event in a safe and fun manner, each attendee will need to sign a waiver form. Stationery printers can design the layout for documents like these, and can also supply Letterheads and other Forms.
