A woman was driving on a road near Woodstock when she saw something very unusual that most of us can only dream about.
Pamela Foster was driving along Ingersoll Road when she noticed a bunch of $50 bills blowing by. She stopped and began to gather them up, noting that there were also $100 bills among the fifties. By the time she had collected as many as she could find, she had a grand total of nearly $4,000.
According to Ms. Foster, at first she was excited that she had found so much money, seemingly out of nowhere, but when she thought about it a bit more, she realized that it must have come from somewhere and belonged to someone who might be very upset that they had lost it. She knew it was not hers to keep.
She went to the local police and told them about what had happened and it was discovered that it belonged to a resident of Woodstock who had lost it when an envelope of money that he’d had in his truck blew away.
