A group of local kids is set to do Windsor proud in an international swimming competition. It is seeking the public’s support to make this dream a reality, and a paint night has been organized to help raise money for this goal.
The Windsor Essex Swim Team has been invited to participate in this summer’s International Children’s games which are scheduled to be held in Ufa, Russia. Its Parent Organizing Committee is partnering with Monte Scott, who will teach the participants how they can paint a masterpiece of their very own to hang up at home and display with pride.
The tickets for this fundraiser are being sold for $40 each, and this covers the cost of both the materials needed to complete the project and the guidance from Scott. Both beverages and food will be offered for purchase, and the activity will be offered in Webb’s Steak, Seafood, Burgers and Bar.
Flyers and a range of other budget friendly marketing materials from a flyer printing company can be used to promote such an event to the surrounding community.
This opportunity to support local kids by picking up a paintbrush will begin at 6:30 pm on Tueday, February 26. It is one of a number of different fundraisers group will be hosting throughout the winter and spring.
