Carrousel of the Nations takes place in Windsor

The heavy rain wasn’t enough to keep the people away from this year’s Carousel by the River that was recently held in Windsor.

According to Patricia Reid-Chrichton, the event’s co-chair, it was one of the largest years for the festival. She also noted that they have been able to keep the original participants in the children’s section, and have also worked to add a variety of new attractions each year, providing a wide range of activities for the public to enjoy.

The Carousel by the River was part of the city’s Carousel of the Nations, which moves to different locations all across the city. It operates as a set of “villages” that house the displays, exhibits and activities. This year, Celtic, Italian and other world cultures will be featured, along with the Windsor Symphony. It is the first time that they have taken part in the festivities, and they performed as part of the Via Italia contribution to the festivities.

The event lasts for two weekends, and attracts people from the city and the surrounding area. A printer will be able to provide all of the printing services that are needed, such as producing tickets, promotional Posters and Flyers and guides outlining what is going on.

This is 40th year that the festival has been held. It receives sponsorship and is run by the Multicultural Council.
