Whitbys food service community set to shine

While COVID-19 may have presented some challenges to Whitby’s small businesses, the community will be combatting this by hosting an online event that will showcase the city’s restaurants and other food service operations to the community.

The Artists and Artisans Development and Network (AADN) will be joining forces with Saffron Hub to hold the Whitby Artistic Food Expo. It will take place both on Facebook and YouTube, and the whole community is invited to enjoy the experience free of charge.

One of the goals of this event is to provide a boost to eateries that have been hit hard by COVID-19. It will provide them with a platform to connect with the public, who will be able to “meet” these entrepreneurs who help to keep the local economy strong.

The planners of this activity have noted that they want to hear from members of Whitby's food service community who are interested in taking part. The final date to submit an application is January 15th. A printer can prepare a Logo Design for this sort of function, which can then be used for both virtual and real-world efforts to market the event.

The Whitby Artistic Food Expo will be showcasing the area’s culinary sector on January 23rd and 24th. It will run from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on both days.
