The Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise serves its community all year long, and one of its most popular activities will soon see everyone enjoy a BBQ feast.
The organization has announced that the annual Whitby Ribfest is right around the corner, and there will be a new addition to the lineup this year with a community concert.
The weekend has been planned with foodies in mind, and along with the BBQ prepared by the “ribbers”, food trucks will be on site. Those who choose the Concert ticket option for the Friday evening will be treated to live music and picnic-style seating. There will also be a Public Rib Zone on the Friday, for which a ticket is not required. Those who opt for the full Ribfest experience can stop by on the Saturday or Sunday, which will both be family friendly. The monies raised will be donated to local projects, as well as those further afield, and it has attracted an extensive lineup of corporate sponsors.
