A Whitby boutique will soon be showing some love to local makers by hosting a spring and summer series of pop-up vendor markets.
Unique Town Boutique, which is located at 10 Mary Street, will be opening its doors to area small businesses that have been looking for a way to connect with the community. Each instalment in its market series will have its own theme, and five events are on the agenda.
The schedule opens with a May culinary and craft market, and in June, the theme for the occasion will be holistic wellness. July’s instalment will be focused on the efforts of area artistic entrepreneurs, and in August, shoppers will find plenty of handmade crafts and other unique items. The roster will draw to a close with a September night market, and this session will feature live music and food.
Many people enjoy discovering new small businesses in their area, and a pop up market like this gives them a chance to do so, all under one roof. Packaging supplies, business cards and many other types of marketing materials required by businesses for such an event can be crafted by area printers.
Unique Town Boutique will be rolling out the welcome mat for these special community markets starting on May 20th. The other sessions are scheduled for June 17th, July 22nd, August 26th and September 28th.
