The community of Whitby is known for the many activities it hosts each year, and one of its most popular holiday traditions will be returning for another season.
The town has partnered with its Downtown Business Improvement Association, (BIA) to create a festive start to the winter holidays, and it is rumoured that even Santa himself will be stopping by. As it will be held outdoors, the guests are encouraged to bundle up and rest for the weather, and it promises to offer lots of family fun.
The gathering, which will be held in Celebration Square, will include lots of entertainment from the local area, and cookies and hot chocolate will help to keep everyone toasty warm. The Big Guy in Red will be the guest of honour, and there will be crafting, photo ops and a variety of activities planned with kids in mind.
