Whitby to take part in fairy tours

The cool days of fall can be perfect for exploring, and a Whitby area activity will encourage the public to do just that.

The community of Pickering is the location of many parks and other green spaces, and an upcoming tour will visit a variety of these sites. As they enjoy the experience, the participants will be keeping their eyes peeled for Signs like tiny houses that indicate the presence of fairies and other magical creatures that call an area home.

This walking tour will take place during the day, and groups of up to five can be accommodated. An lit-up evening version will be on offer in November, and only one ticket is needed for each group. It will visit parks, gardens and other sites, and anyone who would like to craft their own fairy wands ahead of time will be able to do so during a wand-making workshop. Advance registration for the activity is mandatory.

A tour like this, which encourages the public to get to know their neighbourhood a little bit better, can be a lot of fun, and Print shops will be able to supply waivers, signs, marketing Posters and Flyers for the occasion.

The Pickering Fairy Tours will be held on Sundays throughout the month of October. The meeting point for the outing will be 3550 Greenwood Road.
