Fall in Whitby brings many pleasures, and one upcoming event will see residents celebrate the harvest season.
Grass Park is preparing to serve as the location for the community's Harvest Festival, which will add an extra touch of fun to late September. There will be activities for the whole family, and while the crowd enjoys themselves, they will have the chance to discover what the area around the park has to offer.
The plans for the day include wagon rides and a farmer’s market, and the younger attendees can have some active fun in the Kid’s Zone. Here, they will find inflatables, as well as a balloon artist and face painters, and everyone can try their luck in the scavenger hunt. The main stage will see local entertainers keep the crowd’s faces smiling and toes tapping, and there will also be street performers circulating.
Tim Hortons is sponsoring the event.
