Whitby set to go Greek this summer

Greek culture has a long history and a Whitby event will put this front and centre.

Rotary Sunrise Lake Park is set to serve as the venue for this year's Greek Summer Night Culture pop-Up, and it promises to have lots of fun for all ages. The Greek Tycoon eatery has provided financial support for the activity, and the function may be rescheduled in case of rain.

The attendees at the celebration will be able to take in some traditional Greek music supplied live by Olympic Entertainment. There will be demonstrations of group dancing, and the crowd will be invited to give it a try for themselves. No experience is needed to enjoy the experience, and it will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on its scheduled date.

Attending a cultural event gives members of the public the chance to experience the world without ever having to leave their own hometown. A poster printing company will have a variety of options available that may be very helpful in promoting a function throughout a community, and many of these may be budget friendly.

This evening of Greek music and culture will be on offer on July 23rd. The rain date has been set for July 25th. Sophia Sousa is the organizer for the celebration and full details can be seen on the Whitby website.
