A special event has been planned for Whitby that will see neighbors come together to celebrate New Years Eve as a community.
This free event, which has been planned with families in mind, will offer fun for people of any age. The crowd will gather at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre for an evening of entertainment. People can lace up their skates and spend some time out on the ice, and there will also be face painting for both the young and the young at heart.
To add to the excitement of the occasion, the Whitby Figure Skating Club will give a performance, and a juggler will also be on hand to entertain the crowd. A magic show and balloon artist will also be performing. When it’s time for a snack, food and other refreshments will be on offer for purchase, and there are some surprises planned as well. Newsletter printing can be used to create community bulletins that keep the public informed about events like this that will be taking place.
This large community event that will bring neighbors together in a spirit of fun, will start at 6:00 pm on December 31st. It will run until 9:00 pm, and community members of all ages are welcome.
